Make Capit a dirty word

News from Retort
you can't even mention the words "socialist" or "socialism" in comments on Salon blogs any more. For why? It's the Scunthorpe problem: the words contain the brand name for a Viagra-type medication -- Cialis. So the unresticted global capitalism of the spammers' economy has finally made it impossible even to mention an alternative.
The irony is that, invariably, there's more to socialising than sex. Unless you're doing it with an American spelling.

Lots of Latin literature - including many texts by Church Fathers - gets screened out by internet filters, because the word for "with" in Latin is "cum".

I suspect I'm not so troubled by this because, if Church Fathers want me to understand what they're saying, they can bloody well write in English. But you raise an intriguing point, Chris. What's Latin for Socialism? And can it be used to circumvent spam filters. My suspicion is that "socialism" is deeply latinate, and therefore doomed to look like "cialis" in some form or other. Perhaps it's time to use the now-redundant signifier of some socialist precursor. Like "postivism".
